Jennifer Bullard, Assistant District Engineer for Construction at the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, highlighted the $2.8 million bridge’s unique features.
While East 590 Bridge is fairly standard in many ways, Bullard points out the distinction that the bridge spans over both a state highway and a railroad, which was a situation that presented unique challenges in considering how to support both vehicular and train traffic.
