MONTGOMERY, Ohio —
The Ohio Department of Transportation announced in a press release Saturday that a new “SmartLane” is coming to the northeastern part of the Interstate 275 loop in June.
According to ODOT, SmartLanes work by “allow[ing] an extra lane of travel on upgraded highway shoulders for use during certain times to alleviate congestion and aid incident management efforts.”
